Location 

Immersed in the Salento countryside, Tenuta Mosé is a charming hotel steeped in history where time passes at a slower pace allowing you to savour every minute of the day. The farmhouse is just 5 km from Gallipoli and 38 km from Lecce. The nearest airport is Salento/Brindisi (83 km) while Bari airport is 200 km away.

Hotel

A splendid eighteenth-century aristocratic mansion transformed into a luxury hotel, nestling in several hectares of vineyards. Tenuta Mosé is, in fact, a busy working farm which manages 4.6 hectares of vineyards, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, producing a fine organic extra virgin olive oil. The property is the site of the elegant Villa Costa and Villa Caracciolo, flanked by formal, manicured gardens.

The 18 suites at Tenuta Mosè are unique spaces curated down to the finest detail, each with its own narrative identity expressed through frescoes, antique materials, and refined furnishings. Spacious, elegant, and welcoming, with sophisticated décor, soft tones, and whirlpool tubs, the rooms range from the Deluxe Suites in the historic Villa Caracciolo — romantic and immersive, featuring themed frescoes and private terraces overlooking the 19th-century orange grove — to the Deluxe Superior Suites with private pools, and up to the Executive Suites and Penthouses, which represent the pinnacle of the stay with even more exclusive spaces. The common thread uniting all room categories is the restoration of traditional Salento rural architecture, the use of local stone and authentic materials, and a constant attention to aesthetics that transforms every stay into a complete sensory experience. 

Wellness Centre

The wellness centre inside Villa Costa, offering a comprehensive programme of beauty and wellness treatments, is the perfect place to complete your stay in pursuit of total relaxation.

Beach

The nearest beaches are in Gallipoli which is 8 km away. The Tenuta is affiliated with one of the beaches; guests can contact the staff for further information. 

Restaurant

The restaurant “Il Petrosino” welcomes guests in the elegant inner garden of Villa Costa and offers a reinterpretation of traditional cuisine with an international twist. Fruit and vegetables, grown on the estate, are served along with locally sourced ingredients which are selected from the many excellent products in the area and slow food associations. There is a fine wine list which includes the best labels, as well as ones from small vineyards that adhere to a path of ethical and quality production.

After dinner, the Club House is the ideal place for a leisurely cup of coffee accompanied by an excellent choice of spirits. 

Services & Activities

The Tenuta Mosé is the ideal place for some well-earned mental and physical relaxation and rest; a stroll down hedge-lined paths and along the ancient colonnade is the best way to appreciate the silence of the countryside. For the ultimate relaxation experience, head over to the swimming pool with its whirlpool area, surrounded by stone wells.

The price of the room includes a generous buffet breakfast, use of the wellness centre (massages and treatments excluded) and the relaxation area.

Small pets are permitted on request at the additional cost of €20/night.
