Vivosa Apulia Resort

Location
Located in the beautiful Marina di Ugento, in the heart of the Ionian Salento, the resort is surrounded by a lush pine forest and overlooks a private beach with fine sand. Its strategic location allows guests to explore some of Puglia's most renowned destinations, such as Lecce, Gallipoli and Otranto.

The Brindisi airport is the nearest one at about 120 km distance.

Due to the natural park and the building materials, it is possible to have a high humidity level.

Hotel
A 4-star Superior Eco-resort characterised by the skilful use of local stone, tuff. Immersed in a protected natural park and surrounded by a lush pine forest are the 10 structures, called courtyards, that make up the hotel and where the 333 rooms are located (the average distance between the rooms and the reception is about 300 metres). The Vivosa Apulia Resort, named Best All-Inclusive Resort at the World Travel Awards from 2021 to 2025, also features a large lobby with a library, various dining areas, an amphitheatre, a conference centre and a spa. Outside the resort, there is a swimming pool with four central pools on different levels, each with its own sunbathing area (available from 9:00 to 19:00).

There is no shuttle service to/from the beach and to/from the rooms.

Check-in is strictly from 4:00 p.m. onwards.

Check-out by 11:00 a.m.

Rooms
The 333 rooms of the Vivosa Apulia Resort are spread over 10 courts, each on two levels, all nicely furnished in the typical Mediterranean style and equipped with satellite TV, safe, hair dryer, adjustable air conditioning in the room, and bathroom with shower. They are either on the ground floor with a garden view terrace or on the 1st floor with a balcony.

All rooms have garden view and are non-smoking. For a cot or a crib rail the supplement is € 15 per day (on request, upon availability). The size of the beds in the children's rooms is 180x80.

Wellness Centre
Vivosa Apulia Resort hosts the wonderful VOS - Vivosa Organic Spa (Spa of the Year for 4 years in a row, from 2019 to 2022, and winner in the Luxury Resort SPA category at the International Spa & Beauty Awards 2022), where a high professional staff will take care of you. The Spa consists of sauna, hammam, biosauna, emotional showers, Kneipp path, heated outdoor swimming pool with whirlpool areas, lounge area, cryosauna, different treatments rooms for a fee and 3 Technogym fitness rooms.

Entrance to the SPA is allowed from the age of 18, while entrance to the fitness rooms is allowed from the age of 16.

Beach
The guests of Vivosa Apulia Resort can use for free the beach service that includes sun beds and umbrellas. The sandy beach is located at around 400 m from the main building of the hotel and there is no shuttle service available. Golf Carts may not be used by customers.

The beach of Marina di Ugento is characterized by Caribbean sea colors and fine sand and is ideal also for children with an flat entrance to the sea. Any personal items placed to reserve the position will be removed.

Beach towels are included, sunbeds and umbrellas at the pool and beach are available until fully occupied and cannot be reserved.

Sun umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach and at the pool cannot be reserved. The beach service is open from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM; it is accessible for disabled guests, also offering JOB chairs. All pools have a gently sloping, easy-access entrance.

Restaurant
The main restaurant of the hotel is the "Via Appia" where you can taste a varied and rich national and international cuisine with buffet service. In low season, at the discretion of the management, the buffet may be replaced with table service featuring a three-course menu. The "Osteria Gourmet 'A Puteca" is ideal for a typical Apulian dinner with "à la carte" menu service (paid service). Available during the day are al so the beach and pool bars and the exclusive Lounge Bar.

Please note that the Luxury All Inclusive meal plan includes: Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet during middle and high season; in low season 3 courses menu served at the table (at the hotel's discretion). Buffet thematic menu at the restaurant "Via Appia". Snacks, fruit, ice cream and cocktails only at set times. Soft drinks (water, soft drinks on tap, fruit juices and coffee) from 7 a.m. until midnight at the Dolce Vita Pool Bar and from 8.30 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Scirocco Beach Bar.
Alcoholic drinks at set times (draught beer, cocktails, aperitifs, bitters, national spirits, prosecco, etc.). In every court Acquabar in free service h24.

The staff of the restaurant is not equipped nor authorized to prepare extra gluten-free meals. However, from breakfast to dinner, various pre-packaged meals with celiac certification are available in individual portions, that can be baked by the customers themselves.

Families
Numerous dedicated services are available for the youngest guests: daily entertainment organised by the Ecokids Staff, Baby Club from 2-4 years, Kid Club from 5-7 years, Mini Club from 8-10 years, Young Club 11-13 years and the Vivosa Tribe 14-17 years, playground, freshwater swimming pool with slide, baby pool with a depth of 40 cm, tree adventure park, the organic teaching garden, falconry and beekeeping. Workshops include ceramics, papier-mâché and recycling. Dedicated menu at the main buffet restaurant. Every evening live music in the piazzetta, baby dance and shows in the amphitheatre. Children and teenagers are encouraged to maintain respectful behavior during the animation activities. In case of inappropriate behavior, they may be excluded without a refund.

The private beach is ideal for children all ages.

Sports
Sport activities are possible to practice in different ways! Guest can enjoy playing Padel, beach-volley, lawn bowling, soccer, ping-pong, archery and tennis (synthetic ground).

Also available: two hoops in the pine forest, a jogging track and three fitness rooms with state-of-the-art machines (entry to the fitness room is permitted from the age of 16). Adventure Park in the trees for children and adults. Pilates, Yoga, Meditation, HIIT Fit, Spinning, TRX, Woga, and much more with the Vivosa Fitness Crew.

Paid services: it is possible to rent  tennis rackets, bicycles for outdoor use and organize lessons with personal trainer, horseback rides and many other unique experiences to visit and experience the Salento. It is not permitted to circulate within the hotel area with bike or skates.

Services & Activities 
Several services are available, as laundry service (with payment), Wi-Fi connection in the rooms and in the public areas, beach, tours and experiences (for a fee), elevator in the central building, medical service on request, shop with local products, newspaper, magazine, tobacco, everyday objects. Unguarded, shady indoor parking, with video surveillance. There are charging stations for electric cars.

In the entire hotel area it is forbidden to circulate with bikes, roller skate, skate, kick scooter (even electric ones) and other means of recreation. 

Animals are not allowed on the premises, but there are several pet-friendly guest houses in the vicinity.

City tax – the municipality of Ugento requires the payment of a tourist tax to be paid on spot.
