Valentino Village ****

Location

Valentino Village is one of the resorts that are part of the Ethra Reserve, a tourist complex owned by the Bluserena family. It is located in the Stornara Nature Reserve, on the Ionian coast of Taranto. The village is equidistant from Bari and Brindisi airports (about 100 km) and is a short distance from Matera (about 65 km) and the Itria Valley (Alberobello is 59 km away).  

Hotel

The 4-star village consists of several three-storey buildings surrounded by nature. It is a solution that will please the whole family, given the multitude of services and activities it offers. From Valentino Village you can reach a long, sandy beach through a large pine forest.

Rooms

There are 351 rooms located in different 3-storey buildings, divided into Suites, Junior Suites, Family, Superior and Classic rooms. Rooms for the disabled are available on request.

Small dogs are allowed (maximum 10 kg and with health certification). They will be accommodated in the garden of the Classic room, equipped with a special kennel and bowls for food and water. Dogs may only circulate in the resort in reserved areas and on dedicated routes (e.g. not on the beach, restaurant, amphitheatre or piazzetta), on a leash. There is no provision of food for the dog. The number of places is limited and no other animals or dogs are allowed. Guests staying with their dog will be required to comply with the regulations sent with the booking confirmation.

Wellness Centre

Exclusive beauty SPA inside the adjacent Kalidria Hotel & Thalasso SPA. It has two seawater swimming pools, one outdoor and one indoor, with an Aquatonic Marine Path, an open-air wellness oasis with Jacuzzi whirlpools, solarium and fitness area. It also offers thalassotherapy treatments, aesthetics, sauna, Turkish baths, massages, wellness paths, relaxation and remise en forme programmes.

Beach

A picturesque pine forest connects the Valentino Resort to the wide private beach of fine sand, set in a deserted stretch of coastline of over 5 km. It can be reached by a convenient shuttle bus (a 13-minute ride), where there is a bar and the Scirò restaurant. A beach umbrella with a sunbed and a deckchair is reserved for each room for the duration of the stay. The seabed is sandy and sloping, suitable for children's bathing. 

All resort facilities are connected by a pedestrian Gran Via. There is an internal shuttle bus to the beach, which runs continuously from 8.30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

With the Beach Plus service available 1 beach umbrella in the 1st or 2nd row with 2 sun loungers, 1 deck chair, safe deposit box. To be booked.

The "Serenella Beach" equipped area is available on the beach.

The Beach Point on the beach provides beach umbrellas, deckchairs and sunbeds. It also provides general information about the Resort and entertainment. A compressor for inflatables is available.

Restaurant

For Valentino Resort guests, in addition to the central restaurant 'Il Patio': Scirò, a seaside restaurant open for lunch, and Pizzeria Ethra, open for dinner. Both free of charge, open at least 6 days a week, from 10.06 to 08.09.2024 and subject to limited availability.  The Valentino Resort has three bars.

Guests in Pensione Più are entitled to one access per person per restaurant for stays of a minimum of 7 nights. Customers in Pensione Extra are entitled, for each restaurant, to a maximum of two accesses per person for stays of 7 nights. With the Jolly Formula, unlimited access, subject to reservation.

Sea Box: For those who prefer to dine under a beach umbrella, a free Sea Box is available for consumption on the beach. It can be booked from www.bluserena.it/go the day before.

Bluserena Full Board: Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet with show cooking, wine and bottled water included. One access per week at Pizzeria Ethra open for dinner; Sea Box to be consumed on the beach. On the beach, one beach umbrella assigned with two sunbeds, use of beach towel from 3 years old. Use of the Baby Kitchen.

Pensione Extra: In addition to the services of the Pensione Più, at the Bar, soft drinks, draught beer, fruit juices (in 20 cl. glasses), syrups, slushies, selection of national and international spirits and super-alcohols, aperitifs and, from 19:30, selection of cocktails. During meals, beer, orangeade and coca cola on tap in 20 cl glasses. Two accesses per week at Pizzeria Ethra (at dinner).

Jolly Formula: Entitles unlimited access to the resort's thematic restaurants, subject to reservation during the stay via the online area www.bluserena.it/go. The formula is available from 10/6 to 8/9 and subject to limited availability.

Reservations for the Sea Box and other resort restaurants must be made for the entire room and not for individual members. 

Food intolerances

Bluserena pays special attention to the Guests' well-being both in the offer and in the correct information on allergens for each dish offered. Due to the size and organisation of the kitchens it is not possible to offer customisation of the dishes to suit individual allergies, but in all the central restaurants a basic assortment of gluten-free, lactose-free and egg-free food is guaranteed (although it must be emphasised that it is not possible to guarantee, due to the structural characteristics of the kitchens, the absolute absence of contamination for any type of intolerance, except for packaged products).

Families

The Bluserena world of children and young people is unique and offers a great variety of services: the clubs, where children and young people can be looked after by qualified staff; the large playground; the Blu Baby Park for the little ones from 0 to 6 years old; the swimming pools with water slides, the Acqua Parks with water games; spaces dedicated to children; the presence in the resort of the mascot Serenella.

Blu Baby Park: a tailor-made playground for children from 0 to 6 years old to play in complete freedom and safety. Children, accompanied by their parents, will be able to play on slides, castles and swings, race on pedal karts on a real track, and much more. Guests of the Kalidria Hotel & Thalasso SPA can use the Blu Baby Park at the adjacent Valentino Resort and Calanè Resort.

At the Baby Daycare, Serenino Club, SereninoPiù Club, SerenUp and SerenHappy, children and teens will be entrusted to a highly qualified entertainment staff, who will offer a rich programme of games, sports, leisure and recreational activities. All services are designed, structured and segmented according to age groups: 

• Baby Daycare: 12 - 36 months
• Serenino Club: 3 - 5 years
• SereninoPiù Club: 6 - 10 years
• SerenUp: 11 - 14 years
• SerenHappy: 14 - 17 years

Baby Kitchen: dedicated to parents (with tables, chairs and highchairs) for the feeding of babies 0-3 years old, with assistance and availability of basic products during main mealtimes: vegetable and meat broths, vegetable puree, noodles, meat slices, fish fillets, boiled ham, dairy products, fresh fruit, fresh milk, soya milk, rice milk, lactose-free milk, yoghurt, jams, tea and camomile tea, biscuits. Homogenised baby food, cheese and milk for infants, both liquid and powdered, are not available. It will also be possible to heat milk and baby food, sterilise, blend, homogenise. It is accessible from 06:00 to 00:00, during closing times you can contact the reception desk.

Baby Daycare - Nursery from 12 to 36 months

A relaxing holiday for mums and dads, while the little ones will be "cradled" by the safe arms of qualified and carefully selected nursery staff in a dedicated, equipped and air-conditioned space. The welcoming and safe Baby Daycare area - at the adjacent Calanè Resort - is child-sized, air-conditioned and offers a real programme of games and activities tailored to the little ones. The girls on staff will be playmates, delight the children with snacks and snacks, and provide naptime and nappy changes. Group outings in buggies are also planned. Parents will be provided with bibs, bottles, dummies, non-slip socks, sunscreen and nappies. Parents can participate in some of their baby's activities. The service is available, for a fee, every day except Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. from 15.07 to 07.09.2024. It is also possible to book Baby Daycare for the morning or afternoon only.

Serenino Club - Mini Club for children from 3 to 5 years of age

Qualified assistance, exclusive, safe, colourful and child-friendly environments, for a holiday with lots of sea, games, sports and creative workshops.

SereninoPiù Club - Mini Club for children from 6 to 10 years old

All the activities at the SereninoPiù Club are designed for the enjoyment of older children and, in addition to the Serenino, offers numerous activities in the name of creativity.

SerenUp - Teeny Club for 11 to 14 year olds

Sea, sport, music, challenges, workshops, for a holiday full of new stimuli and excitement, together with lots of new friends, parties and games.

SerenHappy - Junior Club for 14-17 year olds

In addition to sea and sport, the SerenHappy juniors have a programme full of activities.

Medical care: Doctor resident in the resort and on call 24 hours a day. Doctor's office open at set times, mornings and afternoons, with visits free of charge. Visits are chargeable at other times and outside the doctor's office.

Sport

The Valentino Resort offers many opportunities for a holiday dedicated to sport, fitness and wellness. For those who love fitness, in addition to the modern fitness area with assistance from qualified instructors at scheduled times, equipped with isotonic machines, dumbbells, walking mats, spinning bikes, balance boards, strength development ropes and group gymnastics, there are many other activities: Yoga, Zumba, Tai chi Stretch (new 2024), Aquagym, Nordic Walking, Latin fitness (new 2024), dance and aerobic gymnastics come together in an intense experience to the rhythms of hip-hop, samba and salsa; jump fitness, the trampoline that helps you burn calories to the beat of the music. New for 2024, Wing Sup, a fun activity open to all, to master the wind with a wing sail and paddle surf board. Also available:

Rules: motorised or electric vehicles are not allowed inside the village. No individual escort services are provided. Decent dress is required in all indoor areas (never in a swimming costume, shirtless, barefoot).

Valentino Village guests can access the common areas of the adjacent Calanè Village.
