Location

The Pugnochiuso Resort - Hotel del Faro is located in Pugnochiuso (Vieste) inside the Gargano National Park in an area of about 150 hectares. It is 18 km from the centre of Vieste, 75 km from Foggia and 160 km from Bari airport.

Hotel

The hotel overlooks the bay of Pugnochiuso, its terrace for cocktails and aperitifs, and most of the rooms directly overlook the emerald sea and the Apulian Gargano promontory.

The partly renovated hotel has 175 rooms including luxurious Suites and Junior Suites, Comfort, Superior and Standard rooms, 2 restaurants, 5 bars and 3 swimming pools.

Rooms

The Standard rooms, almost all facing the sea, are equipped with private bathroom with shower (some also with bathtub), air conditioning, telephone, TV, Sky, mini fridge (on request), hairdryer, safe and furnished balcony. Petly rooms are available for guests travelling with their four-legged friends.

Petly room: up to 2 pets can be accommodated if small or one pet weighing up to 15 kg. Includes bowl and mat kit, room cleaning, access to exercise area and agility park, extra charge payable locally. Service with dedicated beach umbrellas and sun loungers on payment.

Beach

Pugnochiuso Resort - Hotel del Faro has two pebbly beaches (Baia di Pugnochiuso and Baia di Portopiatto), 400 metres apart, where you can hire parasols, deckchairs, sunbeds and nautical equipment, subject to availability. 
Beach service included from the 3rd row (1 sun umbrella and 2 sun beds per room) until 28/06 and from 09/09 at Pugnochiuso Bay or Portopiatto Bay; optional beach service on payment from28/06 to 07/09 bookable and payable directly on site according to the price list in force. 

Restaurant

Pugnochiuso Resort - Hotel del Faro has 2 restaurants: La Baia and Belvedere.

La Baia Restaurant, overlooking the Bay of Pugnochiuso, serves refined cuisine with genuine products and Mediterranean flavours. For Standard Rooms, lunch and dinner are eaten in La Baia Restaurant while breakfast is taken in the breakfast room. Breakfast for Superior Rooms,  on the other hand, is served at the Il Belvedere Restaurant (in July and August) while lunch and dinner buffets are provided at La Baia Restaurant. Bottled wine and mineralised water are included with meals for all rooms.

Cooking for celiacs: basic gluten-free food is provided on request and food can be also prepared with food provided directly by guests.

Stays must begin with dinner on the day of arrival for both full board and half board.
Packet lunches will be prepared exclusively for guests purchasing day trips during their stay.

Mini and Junior club: every day, special attention will be paid to the little guests.  Baby-sitting 0/3 years old (on request and against payment), Baby and Mini Club 3/12 years old with a personalised entertainment programme, Junior club 12/17 years old with a dedicated weekly programme, Babyland restaurant at the degli Ulivi restaurant (against payment for guests not staying in the hotel formula) in July and August, afternoon snack and goodbye party. 

Two seawater swimming pools, one Olympic-size and one with children's pool, grass 8-a-side football pitch, table tennis, surfing*, diving* and sailing* (*services subject to charge), canoes, archery, five floodlit clay tennis courts (service subject to charge except for group lessons), three floodlit tennis/football synthetic turf courts, a beach volleyball court, water polo, bowls. In addition, exclusively for guests of the Faro, a freshwater swimming pool (at the hotel).

Services

The Pugnochiuso Resort offers its guests two seawater swimming pools, one of which is Olympic sized and one with an adjoining children's pool, 5 bars, 2 large unattended indoor car parks, shuttle service from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m: 00, boutique, bazaar/newsstand, photographer, doctor, disco, beauty centre, hairdresser (July and August), gym, 8-a-side grass football pitch, table tennis, canoes, archery, 5 floodlit clay tennis courts, three multi-purpose courts, beach volleyball, water polo, bowling, surfing, diving and sailing (some services are chargeable). In addition, exclusively for Hotel del Faro guests, swimming pool with fresh water.

Pets allowed (with surcharge): maximum 2 pets if small or one medium size up to 15 kg.
