Location 
The picturesque village of Borgo di Santa Maria al Bagno, on the coast of Nardò, hosts the Grand Hotel Riviera, which is just a few paces from the sea, on the Ionic-Salento coast. It is set in lush Mediterranean greenery, on a terraced cliff and offers a splendid view over the Bay of Gallipoli.
The Hotel’s position, between the Nature Park of Porto Selvaggio, Gallipoli and Lecce, makes it easy to visit the best-known localities in the Salento area.

Hotel
The Grand Hotel Riviera is located on the seafront of Santa Maria al Bagno - marina di Nardò, overlooking the sea of the Ionian coast of Salento and surrounded by lush Mediterranean scrub. The hotel offers its guests modern and essential interiors, beautiful terraces overlooking the sea, and a small but charming Wellness Centre carved into the rock.

Rooms
The Hotel’s 98 rooms are large and luminous, marked by modern, pleasing furnishings. Rooms have a full range of comforts: AC, phone, TV, safe and mini-bar. 

Standard, Comfort, Superior Partial Sea View, Superior Sea View and Deluxe with Terrace rooms available.

Upon arrival, it is compulsory to show documents proving the date of birth of children and infants. If this is not done, the reduction will not be granted. Ages are defined as years of age at the time of arrival at the hotel.

Wellness Centre 
The hotel's small wellness centre offers a hydromassage pool carved into the rock, Turkish bath, emotional showers, Kneipp path, cervical waterfall, massage cabins and relaxation area with herbal tea.

Cost of the SPA path (45 minutes): € 30.00 per person (it includes slippers and towel).

The SPA can be booked exclusively for the couple at a cost of € 100 per couple with prosecco and fruit

Beach
The Grand Hotel Riviera provides guests with a private lido with a rocky beach with umbrellas and sunbeds subject to availability (1 May/15 October), a public beach in Santa Maria al Bagno (400 metres from the Hotel) and a sandy beach with special agreement with Lido Capirinha in Lido Conchiglie with discounts for hotel guests (4 km from the Hotel, 01 May/30 September)

Restaurant

At the Grand Hotel Riviera there are two separate dining rooms: the Cloe Restaurant with a large terrace overlooking the sea and the Nereide Room with its back garden where you can dine al fresco.
Breakfast is served buffet style, while lunch and dinner are served at the table with a buffet of appetisers, salads and side dishes, fruit and desserts (water included).

Special for coeliacs: basic products (bread, pasta, biscuits and croissants) are provided.
Products for other intolerances are not guaranteed.

Families
The cost of your stay includes access to the Mini Club, with a programme of entertainment and activities dedicated to young guests  (from the end of May to mid-September). The restaurant has high chairs and on request hotel staff can provide: vegetable broth without salt, vegetable purée, creamed rice, tomato sauce without salt, full cream or half-cream milk, processed cheese, grated cheese, yogurt and freshly prepared broth with small pasta. 

Free services for families (on request at check-in, subject to availability): changing table, bottle warmer, toilet seat reducer, hygienic basket for nappies, high chair and baby bath. 

Services and activities 

Included in the price of your stay: welcome drink, porterage service, WI-FI, kettle and herbal tea set in the room, use of swimming pools (1 with heated water and whirlpool both with sea view); solarium terraces; fitness room; relaxation area; playground; beach towels.
From 1 May to 15 October: private lido with rocky beach with umbrellas and sunbeds subject to availability, booking on site. Shuttle service to/from the agreed lido. One wellness path in the SPA included (45 min) for stays longer than 4 nights.
