Grand Hotel dei Cavalieri ****

Location

The Grand Hotel dei Cavalieri is located on the Ionian coast of Puglia, in the province of Taranto, in Campomarino di Maruggio, about 600 metres from the beach. It is about 40 km from Taranto, 70 km from Brindisi and you can easily reach some of the most beautiful places on the coast by car, such as Marina di Pulsano to the north and Punta Prosciutto and Porto Cesareo to the south.

Hotel

The hotel has 101 rooms distributed between the main building and the cottages, restaurant, swimming pool with jet fountain and solarium surrounded by lawn, wellness centre and beach service.

Rooms

The rooms at the Grand Hotel dei Cavalieri are furnished in a modern style and are equipped with TV, free Wi-Fi, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and bathroom with shower. In the central body of the hotel are the standard double/twin rooms, all with a small balcony or balcony. In the two blocks of cottages, on the other hand, are the standard rooms with 3-4 beds (with pouf bed). The cottages on the ground floor have a patio or garden while those on the first floor have a small balcony or terrace. Single rooms are not available.

Wellness Centre

The La Commenda Spa is a wellness centre with a whirlpool bath, Turkish bath, Finnish sauna, cold room, and relaxation area with herbal tea corner. Massages and treatments are available on request. The services of the wellness centre are chargeable.

Beach

The beach is 600 meters from the hotel and can be reached by the free shuttle provided by the hotel. The lido has an elegant local bar with a small restaurant and pine forest where it is possible to have breakfast, have a quick lunch or sip a drink at sunset. Beach service includes a beach umbrella and two sunbeds per room from the 4th row onward, available Monday through Saturday (not available on Sundays) by reservation and payment directly on site.

Restaurant

The Grand Hotel dei Cavalieri's restaurant serves national and local cuisine; full board is provided, with breakfast, lunch and dinner served buffet-style or table service (at the management's discretion). During low season, there may be the possibility of half board and full board at restaurants outside the hotel with a shuttle service. 
Baby bottles are available for mothers with assistance, baby food, vegetable and meat broths, pasta, vegetable purees, and bottle warmers. Baby foods, milk and special biscuits are not available. Gluten-free menu available, to be reported when booking.
