Location
The hotel Il Palmento is about 5,6 Km away from the enchanting town of Locorotondo, in the hearth of the Valle d’Itria. Bari international airport is 64 Km away, whereas Brindisi International airport is about 56 Km away. Il Palmento is the ideal starting point to discover the relevant tourist sites and the cultural heritage of Apulia, as the towns of Alberobello, Costernino, Ostuni and the caves of Castellana.

Hotel
The hotel Il Palmento consists of 30 trulli, the typical Apulian buildings made of white stone, of which 12 suites. While renovating this ancient resort, all the original features have been kept using the same materials which used to be employed in the past. Despite the ancient history of the hotel and its location, it provides customers with all modern comforts. In this charming hotel, customers will find two outdoor swimming pools with hydromassage, steam sauna and Turkish bath.

Rooms
The accommodation divided into 2 Standard Rooms, 12 Trulli Deluxe (max 3 pax), 12 Trullli Storici-Suites (Historical Trulli - max 5 pax). Each trullo is composed by a living room, a modern bathroom with shower and a big bedroom with double bed. The trullo is split in two floors. All rooms have a telephone, sat-TV, safe, mini fridge and air conditioning. 

Restaurant
The welcoming restaurant Il Palmento offers a fine traditional Apulian cuisine and can accommodate up to 100 people. The menu  offers an extensive variety of dishes varies and features only fresh food with fruit and vegetables of season, which are grasped directly from the hotel private garden. The age-old tradition of viticulture around Locorotondo shows in the high quality of wine selection offered by the restaurant. In a trullo, previously used for the production of wine, clients will now find a bar, which is the ideal place to go for a snack and a drink at night.
